About

Our Story

Arturo’s is named for Arthur Dorazio (above left), grandfather to Arturo’s Market founder Andre Cloutier (above right).

Arthur’s life is a story of family values, hard work, and an appreciation for good, home-cooked meals. His family knows him for his countless life experiences, such as: his time with the Canadian military in WWII; working on the Trans-Canada Railway; playing on the 1927 Soo Greyhound hockey team and winning the NOHA Championship; working in the early days of the Algoma Steel plant; and many more.

A true, Canadian legend and an inspiration, Arthur Dorazio passed away in his 103rd year.
